Good Parties

My mom sent me a care package over the weekend. It was filled with a random selection of food that I don't think my mom has ever got in her life. I asked why she changed what shes bought as soon as i leave the house, and she said that only half the stuff was hers. The other half came from a "care package party" a friends mother had. Really? A care package party? I understand that mothers want to look out for their children at college, but do you need a party for that? At least just don't give it the label of a party, because i think this could be the only thing worse than a tea party.
