Zzzz
Sleep is completely overrated. I fully believe a human being can function well on less sleep than is needed. Personally, I'm all for sleeping in, but there's no doubt in my mind that people can learn to sleep less. With less time spent doing nothing but resting, our days can be lengthened and we can get more done. Blogging about this is getting me no where, but it's just how what i think. I'm going to try to do this over the next week and see how I hold up.

A Wirelessless World
This lack of wireless internet is continuing to frustrate me. Not only can I not sit in my bed and go on the internet, I can’t even go online while my roommate plays Xbox online. I didn’t think living in an environment without internet and Xbox 360 live was such a hassle. We usually take turns playing, but while I’m not playing, I need something to do. Games take about 10 minutes to finish, and I thought that would be a perfect time for me to creep on facebook. But I guess that’s just not possible.
k
There’s nothing worse than getting a text that just says “k” and everybody knows it, so why would anyone still say it? I don’t get it. Waste of a text. Why not just throw in that extra o? Just the k makes you sound like a jerk that doesn’t want to talk to anyone. The only time I ever do it is to show the other person that I’m mad at them. I don’t know why it bugs me so much but it really does and I think it should be banned from the texting vocabulary.

The Final Final
What's the deal with finals being on Saturday? I mean, there has to be sometime my macro econ final can be taken besides the last day before winter vacation. I guess it gives us more time to study, but no one wants to stay here for the whole time of finals. I think there should be two possible test dates; one earlier and one later. But I guess that would result in people knowing what is on the second test. Either way, it just sucks to be on the last day.

You Can EnV Me
My EnV 1 has just come to its last stretch of life. Although this is my ninth one, they have all lasted less than 3 months. But on November 12th, my contract with Verizon comes to an end and I get to buy a new phone without paying like 3 grand just to get another bad phone. I'm not sure which to get but I'm thinking of getting the new Droid. It's Verizon's version of the iPhone, but it cost $70 a month without unlimited texting, which is necessary. Obviously, I would want the BlackBerry, but that's expensive too. I'm not sure what I'll end up with.

Pushes My Buttons
The iPod touch is my favorite iPod on the market right now, but it does have its flaws. It is just a great piece of technology, full of memory to hold songs and it has the ability to use applications. It is even coming out with new applications that are putting things like the TI-83 plus calculator in jeopardy of becoming extinct. It has good battery life, too, if you keep it on low brightness. But the only thing that bothers me about it is that when I'm listening to it before going to bed, I have to turn it back on to change the song. With my old iPod, I could just hit the next button until I found a song I liked. With this, it's becoming a hassle to listen to without it waking me up every time I get a song I don't want to listen to.
No Ceilings
The new mix tape recently put out by Lil Wayne has become quite the hit. Even though he has recently been arrested on weapons charges on October 22, this new mix tape has all his fans going crazy. "No Ceilings" has no limits to how big it will grow, seeing as it has some great songs and is free online. My favorite song's are Ice Cream Paint Job and Wasted, but other good ones include Swag Surfin and Watch My Shoes. The song even includes remixes of other popular songs. For example: I Gotta Feeling (Black Eyed Peas), Throw It In The Bag (Fabolous), and Run This Town (Drake or Crooked I). If you haven't heard it, check it out.
