First Blog
After reading "Learning to Read" by Malcolm X, something really stuck out to me. In the final paragraph, the author talks about how he thinks he got a better education in jail than in college. He says this is because "...there are too many distractions, too much panty-raiding, fraternities, and coola-boola and all of that." I think this is very true because in my first week of school here, it's been very hard to concentrate with so many things to do. I'm not saying I'd study more if I were in prison, but it's definitely something to think about. Do you think it would be easier to study in prison?
